“Thank you for your prompt service on my failing air conditioner this past weekend. We woke up Saturday morning to plan for my son’s birthday party and found we had almost no cooling. I called your exchange service at 9 a.m. thinking this would be a long shot. To my surprise, your service technician, Dan (#19) called me at 9:10 a.m. and was in my driveway by 9:30 a.m. He had us up and running temporarily, came back Monday and found a leaking A-coil. Tuesday at noon your technician Jim had the A-coil replaced and the system recharged and running. This is truly service that exceeds expectations. Thank you again!”

“Harster installed a new Trane Heating and AC unit in our home. Jerry, Jim, Brady, Mark, and Garrett put in a full day’s work for me. In addition, the guys were clean cut, personable, and knew what they were doing. The guys replaced a pipe that ran the risk of leaking, and installed some sort of shut off unit on my AC to bring it up to code. If I have the opportunity to recommend Harster to my neighbors, I will. Again, thank you!”

These are both exceptional staff members who know how to hunt down a problem and effect the absolute right fix. I was self-employed for 22 years, and before that Executive Vice President of a chain of fourteen high-end retail stores in St. Louis. Customer service was my livelihood. I had a loyalty to Galmiche and Sons Heating & Cooling for almost three decades. After a disheartening experience with the company, I sought another service provider. “I wanted to compliment Harster, once again, for the excellent service! I had used Harster for many years with all my homes, but then lost touch when I lived in an apartment for the past 3 years. Then, just a few months ago, I bought a house again, and last night (Thanksgiving Eve), my thermostat when out! I called Harster’s emergency number, and miraculously, I received a call from Dan, who remembered me from the past! It was like speaking to a trusted friend!
