Coleman Heating & Air Conditioning: A Name Americans Trust. For over 100 years, Coleman has been providing world-renowned quality and comfort. Starting it all in 1900, W.C. Coleman sold lanterns to Kingfisher, Oklahoma merchants to pay for his final year of law school. His lanterns’ popularity grew rapidly and by 1914, Coleman introduced the first 300 candlepower lantern. The product was credited with lighting up rural America. The Saturday Evening Post touted Coleman’s accomplishments: “Except for Thomas Edison, Mr. Coleman may be responsible for the creation of more bright light than any other man.” In 1923, the Coleman Company introduced the fold-up camp stove. It quickly caught on. When the Great Depression took hold of the country, Coleman turned to manufacturing gas floor furnaces and oil space heaters.
At Coleman Heating & Air Conditioning, we believe the more you know about home comfort equipment, the better decisions you will make. Your Coleman Heating & Air Conditioning Dealer will help you factor such things as your home size, home age, number of rooms, insulation, windows, climate, degree days, local and regional utility costs, allergies, or other medical conditions—all into a system that fits your budget. But in the end, you make the final decisions. And while you’re deciding on your air conditioner or heating system purchase, it’s also a good time to think about updating your complete system for maximum comfort, economy, and reliability.
