Don’t get burned by a big box water heater.

No doubt, you can get some great deals at the big box hardware places like…the big orange one and the big blue one. But if you’re looking at a water heater, you may want to use a local business instead. Here’s why: Big boxes sell good names (GE, Whirlpool, etc.), but parts aren’t always available locally. That means you have to call, order the part, and wait for it to be shipped. 7-10 days (that’s what happened in one situation) is a LONG time to go without hot water. Even two days is a long time.
